Thirty student entrepreneurs will set up shop at The Robert H. Smith School of Business Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship Terp Marketplace, a shopping experience featuring products and services from current UMD students and recent alumni. Terp Marketplace offers budding entrepreneurs an opportunity to test their product or service and interact with customers. A sample of Terp Marketplace vendors includes:
- Sweet Indulgence cupcakes Terp Marketplace will be followed by Pitch Dingman Competition -- where five student entrepreneurs will pitch their business ideas to a panel of successful entrepreneurs and investors. The students will compete for $2,500 in seed funding. The audience will help select the $250 winner of the Audience Choice Award. What: Terp Holiday Marketplace Who: Robert H.
